Urban Fishing

Chicago Public Library

Fun fact! Some Chicago Public Library locations offer fishing kits to borrow. Albany Park is one of them! Please join Jonathan Schlesinger, the Chicago Urban Fishing Program Coordinator with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, to learn about the lost art of fishing. You'll also learn about some of the amazing fish found in Chicago. Jonathan will review the basics of how you can get into this healthy, fun, activity without having to spend a lot. AccessibilityNeed sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
