How to Apply

  • The application for the 2024 summer youth employment program is open and will close May 30.
  • Visit onesummerchicago.org to access the application. You will register for a new account.
  • The application has two parts. In part one, you will build your profile with basic contact information. Once completed and submitted, move on to section two.
  • For part two: “Opportunities”, select available programs of interest. Select ‘Chicago Housing Authority.’
  • Then, enter the last four digits of your social security number to verify eligibility. For eligibility to be verified, the last four digits of your social security number, name and date of birth must match CHA’s system of record.
  • If you are interested in the Learn and Earn program, please note this is a two-step application.
