Big Data Camp
Argonne National Laboratory
Big Data Camp brings together high school juniors and seniors into a workshop environment where they will use professional Argonne research data and tools to uncover the secrets of data and look forward at their bright futures.
In this free, 5-day summer camp, students will access data from the Array of Things (AoT) urban sensor project at Argonne. With this data as well as advanced tools from professional researchers, participants get to learn first-hand what it’s like to be a data scientist. The experience, led by scientists from Argonne’s Leadership Computing Facility, enables students to visualize data and realize unexpected and amazing relationships within the data.
Have prior coding experience in a computer language (C, Python, Java, etc.).
