Apply to an ASM Summer Program!
Open to Chicago teens ages 14-18 and in high school, earn money to learn new skills, make friends, and stay active in one of ASM’s hundreds of Summer programs across Chicago!
Summer programs will run June 24 – August 2, 2024.
Summer Programs Info:
Apply to up to SIX programs and increase your chances of getting enrolled. New programs will continue to be added!
Are you 14-15 years old? Apply for Apprenticeship programs and earn a stipend for your participation. (Teens must be 14 years old by September 1, 2024.)
Are you 16+ years old? Apply for Internship programs and gain entry-level professional experience while earning $15.80/hour. (Teens must be 16 years old by June 24, 2024.)
Please check the location of the programs you are applying to and be sure you will have safe transportation to and from the program. Spaces are limited.
Complete the One Summer Chicago Application to Pick Your ASM Progams
You will need to complete the One Summer Chicago application and select "After School Matters" to "Complete your ASM application," by clicking the blue button - see the red arrow in screenshot. This is where you will choose the specific ASM programs you want to apply to.
Interview Schedule:
In-person Interviews for Programs Hosted at ASM Buildings on the following days:
Doors close for entry at 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 14 | 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Lutz Center, Gallery, Gately Park)
- Thursday, May 16 | 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Lutz Center, Gallery, Gately Park)
- Saturday, May 18 | 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Gallery)
- Thursday, May 23 | 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Lutz Center & Gately Park)
Note: Please come prepared for auditions or with art materials if the program requires it.
