Perform Biomedical Research!
Work with University of Illinois at Chicago scientists to discover medicines from bacteria that YOU collect!
Program will run every other Thursday, 4:30pm-6:00pm, at the James Jordan Boys & Girls Clubs (2102 W Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60612)
Students can and will:
- Earn course credit
- Perform field work
- Grow an army of bacteria to fight diseases
- Program and operate robots
- Visit research labs
- Learn about career paths in the sciences (college, graduate school, companies)
