Winter Break Camp at Northerly Island

Kids explore Chicago's great outdoors during Winter Explorers Camp at Northerly Island. Campers will search the prairie for winter birds, trek the peninsula on snowshoes , make nature crafts, and so much more, all to encourage imaginative nature play and learning.Campers should bring a lunch, snacks and refillable water bottle. Weather permitting, we will be spending time outdoors so dressing in layers, boots, socks, coats, gloves is best. Social Distancing, Face Coverings/Masks and Hand Washing/Sanitizing by all programparticipants will be required and supported. Community: Near South Side.
