Observe AIDS Awareness month by joining guest speakers from the Queer Zine Archive Project (QZAP) and the Gerber/Hart Library and Archives for a panel discussion about AIDS activism and organizing! This talk will feature archival material such as zines and comics that were created by and used by activists. Gerber/Hart Library and Archives is a LGBTQ library and archives located in the Rogers Park neighborhood in Chicago. Founded in 1981, Gerber/Hart focuses on collecting, preserving, and making the LGBTQ history of Chicago and the Midwest accessible to all. QZAP is an online archive whose mission is to make queer zines accessibly to queer communities and diverse audiences.Participants only need to register if attending online, to ensure you receive the Zoom link.
