After School Writing Lab

Burst Into Books is excited to announce a new partnership with 826CHI. Starting December 5th, we will be hosting FREE writing workshops for students in 1st to 8th grade. Workshops will focus on both writing and illustrating. All workshops will be held at Burst Into Books’ headquarters (11001 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. 60628).

Students will meet twice a week (Mondays and Wednesdays) from 3:30 pm to 6 pm. There will be one hour dedicated to homework and 1.5 hours for the workshops. All participants will be developing their writings to become published authors! We will host a community event to showcase the students’ writings at the end of the program.
