Description:

100 Level - No experience necessary

We created a magical jigsaw puzzle that contains some intelligent robots, and one of them is playing tricks on us by disappearing! It's up to you to help us understand why our robot keeps disappearing.

Take our puzzle apart and put it back together in different ways in order to explain what makes this phenomenon possible. Are these robots really playing tricks?  Then, write your own set of instructions, describing how to put the robot jigsaw puzzle back together to form your selected number of robots. You can choose how many robots will be in your puzzle, but make sure your instructions lead to this number of robots!

YOUR NEXT STEPS:

1. Click on "Teleporting Robots Activity" below, and learn more about what is allowing our robots to disappear.

2. Write a journal entry that explains why it's possible to make two different numbers of robots with the same puzzle.

3. Write your own set of instructions, describing how to put the robots back together. Your instructions should say how many robots will be created when the instructions are followed.

4. Upload your journal entry and your instructions.
