One fabulous game will be selected to be showcased at the Games for Change Arcade at the end of summer festival in Chicago – it could be yours! 100 Level - No experience necessary

To make a game for change, you need to start with the kind of change you want to make! Write about an area of social change that you care deeply about. Write a description of the issue and why it matters. Think about how a game might help address this issue and share your ideas. Complete the challenge and earn a Game Champion badge!


 Challenge Steps:

  1. Brainstorm topics: What social issues are relevant to the world and important to you?
  2. Select one topic: Why is this topic important and how might a game on this subject make the world a better place?
  3. Describe the impact: What sort of impact do you want to achieve? (ex: Spreading awareness, charitable donations, increasing empathy, support a learning initiative.)
  4. Name your game: What would you title your game for change?
