Use items from around the house to build something that will prevent an egg from smashing all over the ground when you drop it. You can make your own with your own design ideas, or follow these step-by-step instructions from the Science Kids website.

Test your design out by dropping your egg from someplace high, and keep revising your work until you get a model that works. Then show us what you did!

Activity is successfully completed by submitting evidence of having made the egg protector (upload a photo) and by answering the reflection questions about the experience.
