Description:

300 Level - You really know your stuff

Portraits represent a persons face in a creative manner.

Steps:
1. Take 3 portraits of yourself using the self-timer feature OR photograph your friends, family, or objects.  These photographs should demonstrate: different shot types, different angles, different lighting styles - soft lighting and/or harsh lighting, and clear balanced focused subject/image. *See the resources in the resource section to assist you with the techniques.

2. Before you begin your photo shoot, look at the examples below and ask yourself the following questions:

What story am I visually trying to portray?

What shot sizes, angles and lighting best portray my visual story?

3. Upload your 3 images and under each photo you must explain what camera technique is used (shot types and angles), the lighting technique used, and what the subject/image is.
