A montage is the ability to show an audience a long process in a short amount of time.
Developing a friendship is an example of a long process that can be represented in a montage. In the beginning, a person sits alone, studies, and watches other people laughing. In the middle, he or she asks for help from a friend, he or she starts doing nice things for people, showing others how to play different games. In the end the person is playing with a large group of friends.
Steps:
1. Open the “Friendship Photos” file from the challenge resources to practice your montage and sequencing skills. Sequencing simply means to put the images in an order that represents what happens in the beginning, middle, and end. **Note: These are zip files. If you do not know what to do after you click on the link then search Google for the steps based on the system you are using.
2. Select 10 different photos and import them into your movie making software.
3. Sequence the photos from beginning to end.
4. Once you’ve sequenced your photos, add a title to each image.
-Your title should be one sentence that explains what is happening in each photo.
-Your titles must remain on screen for at least 4 seconds.
