Mobile apps! Fun games, information gadgets, and simulations for your cell phone or tablet. In this challenge, you will find out more about the field of interaction design and learn some of the principles of designing an app for an end user. You will learn how to use App Inventor, a free tool from MIT to help you quickly and easily create cool new apps of your own design!

The final challenge will require you to identify a mobile app need and design and build an app to fill that need. Be creative!

200 Level - You've had some practice

Now that you have the basics of app design it's time to spread your wings! Go to the App Inventor website and click the "Tutorials" tab.

1. Build either Mini Golf or Get the Gold

2. Take a picture of some of the blocks in your app (take screenshot while in the blocks editor). Post pictures of the block segments and explain what the blocks are doing. Try to take a small section of blocks like a procedure or a "when" event.

To complete this activity: Build one of the apps listed above. Post a picture showing a segment of blocks code. In the photo description write an explanation of what the blocks do.
