All effective youth programs have youth development at their core. Effective youth leadership programs build on solid youth development principles, with an emphasis on those areas of development and program components that support youth leadership. The Holy Family Career Development Youth Program is a holistic program that develops the our youth, collaboratively with schools academia, church, faith, service and devotion to God and serving our fellow man. It is structured to prepare our children to be culturally diversed, ability to multitask, team player and leader and the ability to understand different career opportunities available. We bring in different indiviuals with a solid career backgrounds in diverse fields that the youth are interested in. We work with The 18th District Peer jury and explorers program to create solid knowledge of the law and build strong community leaders. Workshops with policy makers in defining, differentiating, and providing youth development and youth leadership programs and activities, which are important components of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and their cultural and holistic development
