A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was established in May 2017, serving minority high school teens ages 14 to 18 years old from communities in Chicago Illinois, to include Englewood, Auburn Gresham, Roseland, Bronzeville, Woodlawn, Chatham, and Washington Park. The organization was established to provide today’s and future minority high school students the “option” to attend college or to prepare for a career in the construction trades. The first program: My College Going Self, began as a “pilot” project for an all African American male group of high school students at Kelly Branch Library in the Englewood Community of Chicago Illinois on March 16th 2017.
