A community-led violence prevention initiative. We are under a bigger umbrella of community-based and led city-wide initiatives looking to fight inequality and bring positive change to lives of those who live in poor and underserved communities. Under Peace in Pilsen we have led efforts to feed people facing homelessness, facilitated peace circles, conducted wellness checks on community members, and much more. Despite the name, our efforts are not limited to the Pilsen neighborhood, we understand that we do not live in silos and what happens in one neighborhood affects the others. Lets work together and encourage positive change.
