Community Assistance Programs, known as CAPs is a community-based organization. Our mission is to assist the underprivileged populations in enhancing their quality of life, by providing employment training and job placement services. These populations include the welfare and food stamp recipient, returning citizens, older youth-at-risk, people with disabilities, and other low income populations. CAPs assists the business community in hiring the residents of the most disadvantaged communities in the city of Chicago.
