Student-Led Ed’s mission is to bridge the gap between youth and adults by having youth share their knowledge, perspectives, and wisdom in order to revolutionize the way educators and students learn nationwide. We aim to disrupt the current professional development landscape and reshape whose voices are valued and whose experiences are seen as worthy of learning from by offering schools, school districts, and other organizations high-quality, student-led, digital PD while also supporting our student leadership fellows by providing authentic leadership development, life coaching and emotional wellness support, financial education, college and career coaching, and a stipend that is reflective of the value of their work/voice. Student-Led Ed Leadership Fellows are Chicago Public Schools juniors and seniors who qualify for free or reduced price lunch and identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+.
