Backed by rigorous research, our model has been proven to both decrease dropout rates and increase graduation rates – helping students stay in school and succeed in life. This year, we are partnering with 175 Chicago Public Schools, which enroll about 95,000 students. Our organization accomplishes these goals through two core programs. The Partnership Program links and helps coordinate a variety of essential support programs and services, provided by a strong network of community partners, to public schools across the city. The Intensive Program places a master’s level member of our staff on-the-ground in schools to provide one-on-one and group counseling to specific students. That staff member also connects the school with a range of support programming. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
