Code Nation’s Weekend Workshop Series is an introductory coding course open to Chicago-area high schoolers. No prior experience required -- just an interest in learning! Why participate? You’ll get to: -Visit and learn about some of Chicago’s most exciting tech companies. -Learn computer programming directly from professionals in the field. -Create amazing websites that reflect your interests and passions. -Take your first step towards a career in tech! Code Nation is a nonprofit committed to preparing young people in low-income circumstances for careers in tech. As such, this course is completely free for students accepted into the program. Code Nation will cover the cost of transportation, provide snacks & meals during the workshops, and ensure students have access to laptops.
