John Legend, The Show Me Campaign and Cities of Learning across the country are looking for creative works that engage, inspire and provoke. We are asking youth to Show us through art and digital media how they might change or rethink school to make sure every youth from every neighborhood gets a quality education. We want youth to be aware of challenges facing education, but we also want them to present their ideas for solution.

Find the bright lights that exist today in your community... Now, take a picture. Submit your photos showing positive examples of beauty and strength to our "Bridging the Divide" photo contest, which begins on Wednesday, July 23 and concludes on Thursday, August 21, 2014. A first place winner from each participating community will receive a $300 prize, second place winners will receive a prize of $200, and third place winners will receive a prize of $100.

On Thursday 8/7 from 5-7pm at the Art Institute, Museum Education's summer College and Teen Interns will "unthink" the museum experience through pop-up programs, activities, and interventions in the galleries.
