YOUmedia YA Book Launch Party: Creed

Local YA horror writer Lindsay Currie will be at the Book Cellar in Lincoln Square to celebrate the launch of her new YA novel, Creed. She and her co-author, Trisha Leaver will both be there for a brief reading and signing to celebrate Creed's release.

Shedd Aquarium Teen Lab Open House

Electronic Gardens at The Field Museum

Teens can come learn the basics of urban gardening and how electronics can give us insights into homegrown food. We'll be doing so by building Arduino-based garden sensors. Teens ages 14-18 are welcome on Wednesdays through October 15th, from 4pm to 6pm. Program is free-of-charge.
