Chicago City of Learning is throwing a party on Thursday, August 14, from 11am to 4pm at the Chicago Cultural Center to celebrate all that youth have done, created and learned over the summer.

Free Spirit Media is still recruiting for our Flash Forward internship program. FSM is looking for young people with intermediate to advanced media skills + a desire to learn / study media + professional go getter attitude. Through Flash Forward, 26 advanced youth media makers happily intern in the industry for 6 weeks this summer. A sample of placements include: broadcast radio and television (ex: WBEZ, Power 92, WTTW, CAN TV); journalism (ex: Chicago Bureau, ABC 7 News); and production (ex: Chicago Recording Company, IL Film Office, Hootenanny).
