Details: The event will run 3 hours, and is open to high school students. Event is free, but space is limited.The last 30 min. are to showcase the great games made during the session, and parents are encouraged to attend the showcase event (11:30-12:00). Light snacks will be provided. This event is funded by the CME Group Foundation. Hive Chicago organizations present at this game jam includes Iridescent, MOUSE, Hyde Park Art Center, Important Little Games, Blue 1647, Game Changer Chicago, LevelUp, YOUmedia Chicago, Freedom Games and more. 
All students must bring a completed media release in order to attend. 
This event is based on a number of game jams that have been piloted in New York City through Hive NYC and is part of the global Scratch Day.
