Chicago Public Library Teen Services and YOUmedia invite you to explore the career of your dreams. 1st Saturdays: Careers in Focus is a teen-centered event featuring a different professional industry each month. Network with professionals in the field, explore college programs connected to the career you want, and discover programs and opportunities you can access now to start your path toward your passions. 

1st Saturdays is open to teens ages 14-18.

Lunch will be provided. 

May 2nd, 2015 is Engineering!

Are you a high school teen interested in learning about the professional world of engineering?

If so, the month's event will get you connected to engineers, architects, and inventors, allow you to explore engineering programs, careers, and opportunities to jumpstart your pathway to engineering, and get hands on with engineering through interactive workshops and design challenges.
