On May 31 - June 1, 2014 the Adler Planetarium is hosting Civic Hack Day presented by Teza, a science and technology driven global quantitative trading business led by Misha Malyshev, as part of the nation-wide National Day of Civic Hacking. Taking place in major cities throughout the United States and around the world, the National Day of Civic Hacking brings together problem owners and problem solvers to work together in developing solutions to the challenges faced by our local neighborhoods, cities, states and country. Collaboratively participants create, build, and invent using publicly-released data, code and technology. The National Day of Civic Hacking provides citizens an opportunity to do what is most quintessentially American: roll up our sleeves, get involved and work together to improve our society and the place we call home.
