Participants will learn about the greenhouse effect. Participants will explore the life cycle of a bean from the seed until the plant is developed by learning the anatomy of the plant and collecting and analyzing data throughout the long term experiments. They will transplant plants into individual pots and design an experiment to test the impact of the light in plants’ growth. Students will also design and build small greenhouses to test their hypothesis regarding the light and the growth of the plants.
