The Yollocalli Youth Council is an opportunity for youth (high school and college aged) to play an instrumental part in the development of classes, workshops, and special events for young people at Yollocalli. The badge earner worked with the Youth Development Advisor and other council members to brainstorm and implement youth activities that reflect the mission of Yollocalli Arts Reach and the National Museum of Mexican Art. After researching and preparing for their project, the badge earner collaborated with other Youth Council members to successfully complete 2 to 3 projects. Projects are diverse and are based on the season and goals of Yollocalli Arts Reach. All projects reflect the mission and vision of Yollocalli Arts Reach and the National Museum of Mexican Art, projects benefit the local residents and youth in the community, and promote the arts to a diverse audience.
