Teens will receive extensive communication, critical thinking and other professional development skills needed to be successful in professional environments. The students are primarily responsible for the preparation of the weekly radio show to air on Chicago State University Radio in which they make important decisions such as topics, music rotation, the format, guests and the delivery of the show. The session after the radio broadcast is used to listen and critique, reflecting on the production. Improvements and changes are made based on feedback from the previous week’s show.
